Transportation

Recife has the second major and more modern airport of northeast of Brazil, it's called Guararapes Internationl Airport (also known as Gilberto Freyre International Airport), which connects Recife to major international cities in South American, Europe and the United States. Thus isn't so difficult to arrive there!!! To know the city if you don't have a car you can do it by bus, by metrô or rent a car.

Food

Recife has different kind of restaurants, therefore for lunch or dinner you can choose between dishes typical from several states of Brazil (churrasco, feijoada, carne de sol); several international cuisines like Japanese, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese and others or regional food like seafood, goat, lamb and dishes with manioc. For breakfast isn't nothing better than a cup of coffee with tapioca (typical food prepared with manioc meal).

Solidarity :

Almost everyone has a wish, but not many people make their wishes come true. Once in ancient China man had a strange wish. "I want to see the difference between heaven and hell before I die", he used to say.
Then one day his wish came true. When he was visiting hell, he saw tables full of delicious food, but everyone was hungry and angry. They had food, but had to sit far from the table because they were forced to use very long chopsticks. It was impossible to put any food into the mouth.
When the man was visiting heaven, he was very surprised. Everything looked the same: big tables full of delicious food, people sitting far from the table, and using very long chopsticks to eat. It was exactly like hell, but in heaven the people were well fed and happy.
Do you know why? In the heaven they were feeding one another.

Campos do Jordão

If you enjoy cool places, Campos do Jordão is an excellent ideia for your vacation in July. During this month several visitors are drawn to the cold weather. Frosts are common during the winter and the least average temperature is four degrees.

Not only the weather is good, there are museums, parks, many shops where you can buy workmanship, clothes, shoes, chocolate. However, the best thing to do there is ride a horse in the moutains around the city. It is a great opportunity to see the wonderful landscape.

Notwithstanding, you pay through the nose for everything. The cost of living is very expensive, mainly in July because many people visit the city to feel the cold weather, drink good wine, hot chocolate and eat founde, crepes, etc.

Campos do Jordão is considered the Brazilian Switzerland, mainly, for its architecture of european influence and the cool weather.
